About me: I look more like the Girl Next Door than I do a Barbie Doll or Model. Once you accept that, what you will find right away is that I am real, genuine, compassionate and passionate. I have a bit of a trusting and naive streak to me, yet I feel invigorated in this new world that is opening up for me.

I am a very honest person so you need to know upfront that I am separated and will soon be divorced. We have lived separate lives for the past 3 years but now that we are nearing the end of the divorce, I am finally getting my feet wet for the first time in a very long time and finding out who I am again. You could say I got a bit lost during my marriage and now I am spreading my metaphorical wings and enjoying this new found discovery of me.

About me? I love to laugh and do so often and want to be around others who can make me smile. I don't take myself too seriously and I don't sweat the small stuff = life is much too short and precious to waste time with that, don't you agree? I enjoy music of all kinds but if you peeked in my CD player in my car right now, you would find Stone Temple Pilots, Evenescence, The Fray, Maroon Five and Blue October. I have a ton of genres on my IPod as I tend to have very eclectic tastes.

To go along with my love of music, you will often catch me singing and I love to dance...unfortunately I don't do either exceptionally well, but I have fun doing them none-the-less so it's all good. My favorite thing to do right now is to find a little hole-in-the-wall place off the beaten path that offers live music and a cold beer and sit with a friend and enjoy...then hop to another venue and see what it has to offer. If I can do that riding on the back of a motorcycle, even better!! Something about the ride becomes magical on a bike...it's not like the "are we there yet" as you find in a car...but the sites, the smells, the wind...everything is an experience. I love it. Don't get me wrong, I can play dress up with the best of them too and although I love to do that and visit a more elegant venue on occasion, I am more comfortable letting my hair down in that little hole in the wall I described above.

I enjoy drawing and painting (watercolors mostly), do a bit of pottery but especially love when I can carve from my drawings; I dabble in photography - especially macros; butterflies are magical to me; and I love rainy nights and sunny days but they are all the better with someone fun with whom to share them.
