About Me
If so you are a very lucky person. I know my chosen profession does not set off images of the dream guy, but you would be making a mistake to dismiss the idea without considering a few things first. I may not be the life of the party but I always know who I went to the party with and who I will be leaving with. No matter how bad the economy gets I am pretty much guaranteed a job (I have great references with degrees to back it up). While it may not be the best paying job I love it and to me that is more important. Although I understand that money is important which is why I invest in real estate which is going very good right now, seriously. Being a teacher also means that I can relocate if necessary without much worries if the situation is right. I am a very patient man. I do not have many highs and lows which some people think is good and others think is bad. But the best part about being a teacher is being able to travel.
In the last three years I have spent about 11 combined months overseas on three different trips and another 5 or 6 months traveling within the US. I have been to Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, England, Ireland, Netherlands, and Monaco. I even taught in England for a few months but it didn't work out as well as I had hoped. Most of the time I was traveling solo and staying in hostels or on people's couches if possible. It would be great to actually have someone to travel with me. I have every intention of traveling some more soon (Southeast Asia or South America being the most likely locations). While traveling in the US I spend most of my time visiting family. One brother lives in Vegas (where I also lived for 4 years) and I will be going down there for Thanksgiving and probably New Year's. My other brother just moved to Denver from Austin. I was just down there about two months ago and plan on seeing him again in December. I also go home once or twice a year to the great town of Cohocton, NY. It is a small little farm town in Western NY (about 300 miles from NYC) that was a great place to grow up but just not a place to live if you are a single man in his late 20's.
If any of this sounds good to you I would love to hear from you. I think you will find me to be honest and open. If there is something you would like to know then don't be afraid to ask. If my profile didn't interest you then I wish you the best of luck on your search.
