I moved from NYC to here a few years ago. I can't seem to get the hang of traffic in this sleepy, Southern city. Is there an unwritten law that says you're supposed to go 10 miles under the speed limit? I've checked out most of what Jacksonville has to offer--from St. Augustine to Savannah, from Gainesville to Atlantic Beach. I like to go to the gym, ride my road bike, go to the beach, see art shows, and get involved with charity events. I love bars and the occasional club but I prefer dive bars like Sherwoods, Shantytown, or O'Malley's. They're good for people watching and a good 'ole stabbing! They're also good for conversation--that's where I shine. I am very witty (and a little sarcastic) and I try to be entertaining. Shy people might find me boisterous, preppy people might find me uncouth, religious people call me Mephistopheles, and country people just don't take a hankering to me much. I like to be silly and joke around and be sarcastic. I want to meet someone that is serious with goals and such but still finds time to say, "That's what 'she' said!" whenever it is applicable. And even when it is not!

What the hell is wrong with some of you women on this site? I'm talking about the ones that want to go up in a helicopter, play paintball, go on a roadtrip, or sail to an uncharted island for a first date. I don't even know if I like you yet. What kind of rich guys are you trying to get through this FREE site? You're gonna get beer/coffee and my conversation. Then we'll go sailing on my private yacht and I'll take you to meet Charles Barkley or something...
