I'm a Midwestern girl who enjoys the outdoors: going on the lake, walking along the Pacific coastline, mild hikes. I joined a bowling league this year (yeah, my average is only 117, but I have a good time!). I love to watch the NFL (the Redskins are my team - yeah yeah yeah, I know, don't laugh to hard), enjoy going to hockey games or watching them on TV. I like to go to movies (horror movies are my favorite, even though I am a big chicken..lol), see shows, watch local bands, go out to eat, grill out, hang out with family and friends. I used to be a big reader, but once I became a mom, that kind of dropped by the wayside. I have recently gotten back into it - reading books by Stuart Woods.

On of my goals is to join a volunteer organization - so far I haven't received anything back from those I have contacted, so that's kind of sad to me. I am a registered nurse and absolutely love what I do.

I am a very honest, loyal, respectful and trustworthy person and expect the same from my friends. You could say I am honest to a fault - but if you don't really want to know, then don't ask, and I'll do the same. I am not 'easy', so if that is something that is important to you, then we're probably not a match. I believe in building a relationship and letting things progress naturally, not rush into intimacy. I am very laid back and try to enjoy life. There are times when we have to be serious, but for the most part, if we can't laugh at ourselves, then how much are we really enjoying our short existence here on earth? I can laugh with you as well as at you (as only friends can do), and hope you can do the same to me. I have two grown sons (well, basically, they're 18 & 21) that I am very proud of and they are the apple of my eye.

I don't really have one type of music that I like. I enjoy music from the 60s-80s, and music you can dance to. I don't really know how to 'dance', but I like to get out on the dance floor and enjoy and 'feel' the music. I love to slow dance and be held in your arms while doing so.

Our initial meeting should be very, very casual, and somewhat brief - like meeting for coffee or a drink and seeing if we 'hit it off'. I am also looking for friends, so it doesn't have to necessarily be a 'chemistry' thing happening.
