I consider myself a pretty traditional woman but also someone with an open mind. I believe in honesty and straight communication. Being genuine is my way. I like simple things but always love to learn new things and new ways to appreciate old things. I have two kids and two grandkids and they are the light of my life but with all my blessings, I have an empty space in my heart and life. I am looking for that special person who will be my best friend and partner. Someone I can talk to and share my life with. Someone to discover new things with as well as just hanging out together. Must be honest, considerate, caring, supportive and willing to embrace my family as I will them.
My interests include dance, specifically I teach tap dance but would love to meet someone that knows how or is interested in learning how to dance as a couple. In all my years of dance, that is not a pleasure I have had.

I am also a photography bug. What started out as a way to not get caught in front of the camera has turned in to a hobby that I very much enjoy.

I love to work with animals. I have several pets and have recently entered in to a venture with my brother with some horses.

I like crafty, artistic things as well as history. I enjoy singing and have done some choral work in the past. I have a lot of interests (some I haven't even discovered yet) but my favorite is playing with my grandkids. So if you don't love children and animals, we probably have a problem.

I love being treated like a lady but I am also not afraid to get my hands dirty. Looking for that someone that I can work beside as a team.

A sense of humor is absolutely essential and must possess the ability to laugh at yourself.

Disrespect is not tolerated. Sad that I feel a need to mention that but I have been amazed at the number of men who think it is perfectly acceptable to disrespect their woman. Also, as your woman I would never disrespect you. If we are going to be best friends and partners, we have to respect each other.

Also, don't need someone to take care of me, don't want to be your mother. I am looking for the relationship where the friendship blossoms in to something deep and abiding and our common goal is to take of and nurture, each other and 'us'.

hmmmm a first date. Maybe dinner somewhere? Lots of good ideas. Somewhere conducive for talking but no pressure so we both can relax and enjoy. If it works, the conversation will tell us after that.
