About Me
Well, I am never sure what to put in these (how do you describe a person in a single profile section?), but I'll give it a try...
I am an incredibly loyal guy who loves to have fun, and I like to think that I have a pretty good sense of humor as well. I admit that I can be kind of a nerd, but lets face it: nerds are awesome. I am currently going to college to become a teacher and will be starting my student teaching soon, so I'm really excited to start my career and impact some kids lives.
In my spare time I love to watch the latest movies, play videogames and hang out with friends. Also, a trip to the Kareoke bar is an occasional must. I enjoy playing the guitar, but have recently been too busy with school to practice much (so I'm not sure how good at it I am anymore). Still, music is amazing, and I love listening to just about anything decent (though I prefer alternative or indie rock).
While I am in no rush to push things to be too serious, I believe that any relationship worth having should have the possibility of a more serious future. I hope to one day (after I get out of college) get married and have a family, and am looking for someone who can share that vision. I recently got out of a long relationship and am a little rusty on the whole dating thing, so some understanding there is appreciated. Plus, I am totaly new to the whole online thing.

First Date
I generaly like to get an idea of what the girl would like first. But, if I am working with a blank slate I have a few favorites:
One that I have always liked is to have the girl over and make dinner for (or with) her. Its a little more personal than just going out, and I love to cook. Another fun addition is to make some homemade icecream and talk while it freezes.
If she is over 21, then going to a kareoke club durring the date is always a hoot. Even if she doesn't want to sing, I make a big enough fool of myself for the both of us. I think its a great way to break the ice and can lead to some really good laughs(even if some are at my expence).
Finaly, there is always the classic dinner and a movie date. It may not be innovative, but there is a reason why its a classic. Movies rock, and talking over dinner is a good way to get to know the other person. The girl never pays (unless she insists) and she always gets pick of the movie. Yes, I'll even go to a sappy chick flick. Afterall, sometimes they are suprisingly good.
