My cousin once said to me "I don't know *how* you're still single!" Well, I'm not quite sure either, but part of it is because I'm happy enough on my own and won't "settle", and that I can sometimes come across as a little intimidating (rather than just confident).
(Now, just because I'm happy enough on my own doesn't mean that I want to be on my own forever, it just means that I'm going to wait until I meet the right guy rather than rush into something that's "good enough". Make sense? Like someone once said, it's better to be single than to be in a bad relationship. If it's worth it, I'll work for it; if it's not, I won't...)

I think the easiest way to tell you about myself is to just give you my "laundry list" :)

Me:
- single (never been married)
- don't have any kids (but do want them)

- intelligent
- assertive (my ex-boss thought I was too assertive; I disagreed. And told him so! lol)
- love to travel and go camping! (but always love getting back home, too - there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed when you've been away for a while)

- optimist (yes, it may seem to contradict the "realist" above, but it doesn't really)

- sarcastic (who me? nah...!)
- slightly offbeat sense of humour - sometimes people just don't "get it"

- like (and have) tattoos (mine are small, although I'm planning on getting two more at some point that are a little bigger)

- am actually a virgo, not a leo (and yes, that makes a difference)
- fave movies: 300, Gladiator, Gamer, Army of Darkness (and Evil Dead(s)), Bourne Supremacy (although all 3 were good) (and yes, I like the classic "chick flick" too...)

- enjoy camping and travelling as much as I do (which is a lot, although I'm a car-camper (meaning I drive in, and then camp in a tent) - I haven't attempted the wilderness camping thing yet)

Lunch, drinks or coffee would be a good start (on a patio in the summer, of course!). If things go well, then maybe go for a walk, or out for dessert (gelati...mmmmm!!). As long as it's something where we can talk and get to know one another, I'm up for it!

Just a word of caution - I'm not one to wait a long time before wanting to meet...chatting online is fun and fine for a bit, but the whole point here is to actually meet people, right? :)
