I’m just your average girl looking for her best friend. I am honest, passionate and committed to the people in my life, and I'm just looking for a guy with a brilliant smile, who has a positive attitude and wants to share his life with someone. Honestly, it shouldn't be so hard!

I'm a single-mom, work full time, and I'm back in school again - and it's all so amazing. I have never been happier than I am now, and I realize how lucky I am to have all I have in this life.

What can't I live without? My great kid, my unbelievable friends, laughing right out loud, sunglasses (obviously,) pizza, coffee, the beach, naps, yoga, sunshine, Matt Nathanson, my new car (it makes me drive way too fast,) new music, early mornings, being back in school, looking forward to meeting an amazing guy and seeing where that takes us…

What do I believe in? I believe in honesty and loyalty; I believe in redemption and second chances; I believe all that nonsense they sing about in the best love songs ("Cmon Get Higher" always made me cry, but Pearl Jam's "Just Breathe" is currently moving my soul;) I believe in yoga, sunshine, long walks, sweet kisses, holding hands; I believe that broken hearts, like broken bones, heal and grow stronger; and I believe in faith, hope and what's-meant-to-be.

Important things to note: I don't love to cook, but I do a fair job of it; I'm energetic and lazy, unabelievably loyal, optimistic and hopeful, and I believe in love. Sometimes, it really is just the simple things...

Since I also believe in full-disclosure: I wear glasses (and, no, I don't have a picture of myself without sunglasses,) I can't sing, I'm deathly allergic to dogs and cats, I don't date men from New Jersey - unless Pete Yorn is available - and once I let someone into my heart, they're there to stay.

This is tough as it's so dependent on the two characters involed. Chemistry is important, and you ususally know if it's there pretty quickly; make the first date short and sweet...and look forward to the second one.
