I am a stable, well-educated, in-shape professional just trying to find my own little corner in this crazy world. I am a big action/adventure/sci-fi movie fan, love martial arts and used to compete, love to exercise, and read whenever I have the chance. Love music, always have the stereo on and singing (badly) with whatever I have on.

I'm grounded and have my life together, as much as it's possible, anyway (hey, it throws us curve balls, and you can't worry about everything!). I am finally in the place where I need to be. I want to try almost everything... Life is for living not just existing. That's the singular most important lesson I've learned this year!

I'm not big into the bar scene, it's just not my style. T-shirt and jeans kinda guy here, dress up for work. Simple tastes and pretty low maintenance. All it takes is a quick text message or email to say "hi" to make me happy, but I do expect at least that. I don't understand the whole "let's keep in touch and get to know each other" where the other person doesn't return messages. Doesn't that defeat the point of "staying in touch"? And please try to avoid the sex talk the first time we chat, I'm not looking for that. Other than that, I'm not going to make a laundry list of what I do and don't want; I know it when I meet him.

I march to the beat of my own drummer, and am looking for someone who does as well. Looking for a guy who compliments me, can grow with me, but can do his own thing, too.

Oh, and if you're interesting and outside the "distance range", hit me up anyway. You never know if we'll click, and we can always work out the details as we go along!

And one more thing, gentlemen. This isn't one of those other hook-up sites. If you've never spoken to me, and don't plan on speaking to me, please don't add me as a favorite, it's just plain awkward.

Wow, huh, not sure. Depends on the guy, I suppose. I can do dinner, I can do movies, I can do coffee and lots of conversation. I can do concerts, and I'm up for trying almost anything once. Props to you if you can come up with something creative that makes me go "I would have never thought about that before!"
