Hi - I've been in LA for 13 years. I'm originally from Quebec city. (I speak French/English) What I like to do the most is going to the beach, cycling, spending time with friends, writing, working out, dining out, dining in, movies, and plan original never-been-done before activities. I also love to travel. I've been to France, Spain, Morocco, Greece, Germany, Austria, Guatemala, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic and Netherlands. I really want to go to Japan. My future plans are to work less and get paid more, own a house in the south of France and travel a lot. I don't believe in "retiring at 65."

People in LA are so guarded. Girls are guarded, the men are guarded and no one is being themselves. I think that when you like someone you should show it. And not pretend that "you don't really care." I'm old fashioned that way. I don't like to play games. Doesn't mean I can't. I did it in the past and that's not me. If you like someone, show it. Seriously. I also will never understand why people date 3-4 guys/girls at the same time. We don't do that where I'm from - at all. Girls would kill me in Quebec for doing something like that. ha ha. I like to focus on one person and see where it goes. So if you're the serial dater type, I'm not interested.

I'm also pretty zen for a LA person. You will not see me honk or get angry at people very often. I try to be compassionate and tolerant in my every day life. I also know how to treat a lady. I don't mean that I'm the "sugar daddy" type. What I mean is that I don't need "valentine's day" to tell me to make my girl feel special. Too many guys are so "ordinary" when it comes to that - I'm not one of them.

In my ipod i have a lot of rock n roll. New bands. I can't just list "favorite bands" but right now I'm listening to the Death Weather, the Kills, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Faint...

Well, I'm flexible. Some people like to keep it casual and that's fine with me. I tend to like the traditional way of doing things. But seriously, is a first date really a date? It's more of a "let's meet and greet and see if we like each other" moment.
