I have always considered myself as very open to individual lifestyles, thereby trying to avoid stereotyping people. If at all possible, I really try to get to know people, engage them, and make them feel very comfortable and at ease around me. I enjoy listening to people just to "learn" about who they are or about their life experiences, interests, etc. My personal and professional life has allowed me to live in Panama, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Switzerland (for four years). My jobs have also allowed me to travel to over 35 countries. These living and travel experiences, have afforded me a world perspective as opposed to being US-centric.

I have always been able to balance my professional career and personal life. I strive to work diligently and at the same time have fun. As for hobbies, I'm an avid tennis player, runner, surfer and snowboarder. I also go to the gym on a regular basis to avoid the effects of gravity. As we all know, when you get a bit older, one's metabolism tends to slow which makes staying fit more of a challenge.

I appreciate a woman who is very independent but appreciates a man that is chivalrous. I have been one to always focus on the moment in time, regardless of the environment. If there's a connection, I feel, you should be oblivious to the surroundings.
