My name is Andy. I am an Iraq war veteran and I currently work for the Department of Defense. I have been to college and hope to return as soon as the government figures out how to pay for veterans tuition (major headache). I am also a certified nurses aide and plan on working in a nursing home part time on top of my DOD work. I hope to own a house before I'm 30.

Aside from all that crap, I am a computer nerd at heart. I love my anime and video games too. I also love to work out, so I am by no means a couch potato. I just prefer a quieter atmosphere with a few friends as opposed to huge gatherings of people.

Dinner is an obvious choice, but I will admit I hate the whole "dinner and a movie" thing. I don't mind going on a date to the movies, but not on the first one. During the summer a waterpark is my destination of choice for a first date, or a baseball game. Winter time limits the options. I guess dinner and a movie is good for this time of year. A bar is a good choice either time of year... as long as no one is getting hammered. I'm more interested in getting to know somebody on the first date and having a good time than impressing.
