The Past
I grew up mostly in Oklahoma before I joined the Air Force as a cop at 18. I did a few years in Germany, a year in Turkey, and a short 3 months in Italy. I loved my time in Europe and got a lot of quality travel. I moved to Houston and settled into some security jobs. I met a girl got married had two daughters and got divorced. My ex-wife moved to Denver with the kids and the two of us travel between the two cities.

Present
I am out of town four days out of every eight for work so I'm off some weekends and sometimes I have to be gone. I go to school for a degree in accounting and work full time (about 50 hours/week) so I am very busy. I am active, but you won't find me out jogging at 4am ever. I enjoy reading humor, some Stephen King, and biographies. My taste in music is diverse from classical to rock and I can appreciate most things. I do like to cook, but I'm a bit out of practice since I'm out of town so often and don't cook much anymore.

The Future
I want to teach high school math. I choose a degree in accounting because if I decide against teaching later I have a fall back. I don't have it all planned out, but I have a plan.


I guess at this point I need to come up with that witty dialoge that makes me different from all the others out there. Those magic 50 words or so that will make the type of person I'm looking for say "oh wow I want to talk him". I don't know that trick though and if I did I would be selling it for a lot of money. So how about we judge each other by looks to decide if we want to message, let the messaging determine if there is enough common interest to meet. The first few dates to decide if there is chemistry, and let the chemistry decide if we can tolerate each other enough to have a future.

Spelling is not my greatest accomplishment. I didn't spell check this bio on purpose. I am fine with good grammar, but if someone is so crazy about spelling that they don't want to talk to me becasue I mispelled culinary then it's best to just move along anyway.

I'm looking for slow, but serious with a natural progression through the relationship. I'm not looking to move in with someone in six months, which seems to be a growing trend. In the early days just someone whose company I enjoy and who enjoys mine. Have fun relax. In the long term I don't want anymore kids and while I'm not against marriage I would want a good reason for it as oppose to just getting married to have the piece of paper. Eventually I want someone who likes my daughters, but doesn't want kids herself. It's just a choice I've made from my experiences. I don't even mind explaining myself if you'd like to message me.

First date is tough. A lot depends on the other individual. The only one I don't care for is the movie date. An entire date that you don't spend anytime talking to each other and you never know what the other peoples taste in moives is. Dinner is good at a local resteraunt as well as community events. Drinks are good as well so long as nobody goes too crazy. Mostly I enjoy a calm enviorment where we can talk and decide if we want to get to know each other. It's the first date not the rest of our lives soo have fun and relax. I don't see anything wrong with the good old fashion kinds of dates if something is fun for both people. Go bowling, ice skating, the kind of things kids do in HS when holding hands is a big deal.
