To be honest, I never thought that I would use the internet for dating. It is just really hard to take the time to go out and look for love when life gets in the way. It is important to take time for yourself, but honestly who spends that time looking for dates?

I am looking for someone who has good core values. Someone who knows that as much as attraction is important in a relationship, that there are other things that are more important. I want to find a man who loves to travel. I spent a year teaching in South Korea and while I was there I went to China and Japan. There is so much more of the world that I want to experience, so I need someone who is looking for this similar quality.

You should know that I am not someone who worries about their weight. I love going for walks, working out on the eliptical, hiking up a mountain or through the forest, but I also like to eat and drink beer and refuse to diet.

As much as family and friends are important to me to some degree, I also value other things in life and would like someone to spend my time with.

I cannot stand anyone who cheats, lies, needs to be the center of attention, or cannot throw down for someone in need. I want someone who is honest, who can laugh at inappropriate times, but who knows that there are times that you need to be on your best behaviour. Most importantly I am looking for someone who has dreams and passions and who is willing to try new things, but is okay with the fact that I am sometimes a little chicken and cannot be forced into doing anything that I am afraid of doing.

First dates are always difficult to describe. Primarily because the best dates are spontaneous or are not known to be dates until the end of the night. I am pretty well up for anything. I enjoy lots of sports, movies, museums, going out to a pub, or whatever your interests are because the first date should be enjoyed mutually.
