Well, these things are never easy to write. How do you describe the sum of a man, in his own words, on a site like this?

I'm trying here. Basically, I think I'm one of the good guys. I try to lead a good life, and always do the right thing. Platitudes, yes. Successful with that so far? Heck, I don't know. I've never had to run into a burning building to save anyone, but I know which direction I would go. I wasn't around to March in 1964 for civil rights, but I know where I would be.

I can say I'm an adventurer in life's little journey here. When given the choice, I have continaully turned on the road less traveled. I have found that some of the best surprises are on those dirt tracks. I have also found that some of them don't go anywhere too.

I have had a successful career so far, and had good fortune in being able to live in a lot of different places. I value that traveling part, but have always loved to come 'home'. I think I'm pretty intense, but I have a sense of humor that I share with all. I am usually seen with a smile on my face.

Being fit physically is important to me. All those endorphins are important to an emotional well being as well as a physical one. I'm not insane about it, but an hour a day is generally all I need. Working out with me can be fun, but isn't necessary.

I like to be the man in the relationship. That means that my woman is taken care of, that she feels loved and desired, that she feels safe and protected. Am I a caveman? No. Her career is important, so is her voice and her desires. We're equals holding hands on the journey, yet with different roles.

You know, I guess what all this comes down to is having a partner. Someone that you feel you want to share everything. Someone to walk with, dream and scheme with, laugh with, explore with. Did you ever do anything on a work trip or without your mate that was so much fun, all you could think was how much better it would be if your significant other was with you. Did you ever go back to that activity with your significant other just so they could experience it too? If so, you know how I feel. That's a cool feeling. That, for me at least, is the goal. That's paradise.

What I'm looking for: Someone fun, who communicates well, and wants to understand me. Eventually, barriers and walls come down, and I will share all of me with my special someone. I would expect that she would do much the same with me.

Ah, my game is good. I don't want to be sharing my secrets with all y'all out there. A first date with me is very memorable, and will always leave the girl wanting a second one.
