Here goes...I'm not so great at talking about myself, so feel free to ask me anything you want to know. I'm kind of just checking things out here, more or less looking for someone to talk to, have dinner with, hang out with. I like unique people with something to say, who are not afraid to be who they are. I'm not into big egos, big muscles, or big mouths. I'm not impressed by money or acquired "stuff" and relate best to nice, considerate, down to earth people.

As for me, I am a full time University student. I have decided to go back to school after a 10 year hiatus. I also work part-time. I consider myself laid-back, easy to get along with and kind.

I love music and listen to all types, although I am not a huge fan of top 40 or any other garbage that gets played on the radio. I enjoy everything from Alkaline Trio, The Descendents, Matt Skiba, The Pogues, The Smiths to Phil Collins or even some old fashioned hard hitting house music like Donald Glaude. I can appreciate anything that speaks to me, or can make me feel something.

I guess I'm not your typical girly girl, even though I have worked in the beauty industry for the past six years. I don't really like shopping, or sitting around with the girls gossiping and checking out guys. I've had my years of partying and being a social butterfly and although I still enjoy the odd night out, I'm just as happy to sit in a pub, have a few beer, watch the locals and have a good conversation. People watching is one of my favorite activities and I've come to discover that any Walmart, on any given Sunday is especially rewarding;)

I'm hoping to meet friends, someone to talk to and experience life with. I guess we'll see after that. I'm certainly not perfect and thus, I don't expect you to be. In fact I prefer someone a little rough around the edges who is genuine, kind and funny, maybe a little bit quirky. Someone who has experienced life and who understands what is truly important...

Honestly, anything goes. Like I said, I'm laid back....Lets go to dinner, go for a walk, watch a movie at home, get drunk and tell each other things we shouldn't on a first meeting :P I'm always looking for people to go snowboarding with in the winter...whatever makes us happy!
