I am looking for a partner to play with, to share the good life with, to help carry the load and each other through the trials and tribulations; someone to share family, friends, bites from each others' plates, love of music and dancing, senses of humor and private jokes...sometimes silly, sometimes irreverant, but always in abundance; deep conversations and spirituality (important); volunteering and counting our blessings; smiles and adventures.

Let's face it - all of us have had pain and sorrow some time in our lives. We are all broken in some way and I am an empathetic person. But I desire someone who has dealt with their brokenness, is emotionally healthy and has space in their heart for a partner. Soul healing comes from within and is a personal journey best shared with a counselor or clergy. I know I cannot change or fix anyone else...only me. Financial health is a must too. I'm not looking for a provider but someone who can share in a balanced partnership.

Physical pride is important and I work at staying in shape and maintaining my appearance. To me it's about my quality of life as I get older and I want my partner to share the same value.

I need to put this up front to save any missteps. I am allergic to cats and am too much of an animal lover to ask someone to give up their pet. I love dogs, especially mine, but owning cats makes us a non-starter.

The perfect first date is short and sweet...a "meet and greet" with maybe a cup of coffee or drink. We'll both know our interest level fairly quickly. A follow up e-mail or call will tell us if we want to move on to a second date.
