I love to be active and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and bicycling but also enjoy relaxing with a great wine and and a great home cooked meal. I have hiked most of the trails in the Smokies and hope to finish all of them next year. In 2007 I bicycled from San Franciso, Californis to Saint Augustine, Florida and had an great time. In 2008 I bicycled to Key West and back. This year I took a trip south of the equator, but not on bicycle. Don't worry about keeping up with me, I am no superman by any means so don't think these are major feats, anyone can do them if they want to bad enough, I still would rather have a slow walk holding hands with someone special.

In life I want to be happy and enjoy all the time I am given. I love traveling and take trips as often as possible. Some of my favorite quotes are:

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but to slide in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a margarita in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "Whoo Hoo, what a ride!"


I think I am one who says "why not" when others are asking "why". This has allowed me to have some of the most amazing adventures and meet some very interesting people.
Most of my favorite places usually include white sand and blue water, especially if there is a full moon with the mountains coming in a close second. I love food, good wine, and cooking but still looking for the special woman to share these with me.

What am I looking for? Perhaps I should first give what I am not looking for. If you do drugs, smoke, or have numerous tattoos, STDs, very young children or mental issues then please do both of us a favor and look elsewhere, we would not be compatable.
