About Me:

My name is Dee. I'm a relatively simple person to please. I'm honest, and have no time for games or drama. I'm drug/ disease free. I have only minimal drama (that is, whatever life throws my way), and keep other drama out. I'm a soft-butch (if a label must be applied, though I hate labels.), but overall, I'm simply me.

I'm looking to spend my time with a relatively wonderful person who wants to live a simple, loving life. As like nearly everyone who's posted a profile here, I'm looking for someone for the long haul. I'm not looking for a "flash in the pan." I'm hoping to find the right one that I can spend a lot of wonderful years with, in other words, a LONG-TERM relationship. Now that's not to say that I'm looking to go full-steam ahead right away into a long-term relationship. I want to get to know that special person and take things at a pace that's comfortable to each of us. Your comfort is always, first and foremost, the most important thing to me.

I love to cook, especially my famous "7-layer Lasagna." (I AM OFFICIALLY SENDING A CHALLENGE OUT THERE: ANYONE DARE TO ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE, OR ARE ALL THE BOLD, DARING, ADVENTUROUS, SASSY WOMEN ALL GONE?)

I cook, clean, do housework, fix whatever breaks, will love to work in the yard given the opportunity, and take care of my Chihuahua, Rocky. I love all animals (with the exception of snakes and spiders. (Yes, in that respect, I am a girly-girl)

Some of my hobbies include fishing, writing poetry, games, cracking jokes, reading (as I'm always looking to expand my knowledge), horseback riding (when and if I could find a farm that would allow visitors to ride. I haven't ridden in many years, and being from New York, I do miss it terribly).

I am a DIE-HARD JETS, GIANTS, METS, AND DOLPHINS FAN. YES, I do tend to yell at the tv when they are acting stupid, but that's my way of 'helping" my boys win. (hee, hee, and lately, the Dolphins need all the help they can get.)

I am a die-hard romantic, I am infamous (or famous, however you wish to look at it) for leaving love notes, giving flowers just because, candle-lit dinners, romantic picnics, picnic lunches, and long drives to special secret romantic destinations (provided my scooter decides she wants to work, though hopefully I will be getting a car soon. And, yes, she's just like us women, tempermental when she wants to be).

I am looking for someone who loves to laugh, have fun, relax, and have a good time. I am currently working on my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. I am hoping to further my education and get my Masters Degree. I don't know whether I'm going to work in the Criminal Justice field as a Juvenile Justice Defense Attorney or a Juvenile Justice Probation Probation Officer. I want to feel like I'm making a difference, and I feel that these are the fields to do so.
