Just finished college and, needless to say, I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I think I'm going to go back to school to pursue writing.

I like cafes, museums, zoos/aquariums, any sports games, concerts, flea markets, road trips, bars/pubs, parks (with swing-sets), and anywhere I can sit with my laptop, listen to music and do a bit of writing.

I lived in London for a stint and I love to travel as much as possible, which is not nearly as often as I would like.

I love all music and buy a new cd once a week. On TV I love Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development or anything on BBC America. My favorite food is meat and potatoes and I think vegetarians are crazy. I love good movies and some bad ones, too.

I like being a nerd.

How difficult is it to spell correctly? Come on, people! Spellcheck was invented for a reason.

I'm big into music, up to and passed the point of obsession. I've played guitar for years and I love to play the blues. My dream has always been to be a guitarist in a band that is a mix between The Stooges, The Decemberists and Hendrix. If you haven't the foggiest idea of who any of those bands are then we're definitely going to have to work on that. On the other hand, if you like to talk music we'd definitely get on well.

I can't stand the singer from the FreeCreditReport.com commercials. That guy gets my goat.

Just read Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49. My favorite authors are Mark Twain, Agatha Christie, Bill Bryson and JK Rowling. Yup, that's right, I am a Harry Potter fan. I also get Rolling Stone and GQ.

I hate bullshit.

Overall, I'm a pretty passive guy and I like to be put in new situations because there is nothing more fun than being completely and utterly out of your element.

I don't know really about a first date, I guess a cafe would do fine. I'd have to nix a movie because you can't really chat in a theater. Actually, I think going to a concert or a Bears game would be good idea. Wait, better yet, the zoo. The zoo would be the best place for a first date because we can talk and I could impress you with all the random facts I know about animals. And if that fails, maybe we could just grab a drink.
