It's time to build a relationship. I am certain life is more satisfying when shared. My life is good (kids, grand kids, friends) but I'd like to add a primary relationship to the mix. I won’t settle - neither should you.

I have a lot to offer. I approach everything with energy and passion and I can have a good time in most situations. I'm smart, curious, confident, articulate, well-traveled, fairly literate, a good talker and a good listener. I have an active mind and quick wit. I have 2 wonderful children, both successful in their careers and relationships. I like to cook, and unless I’m at an ethnic restaurant I prefer my own cooking. I'd choose fruit and veggies over meat. I floss daily, listen to NPR, am physically and financially fit, have moderate vices and lots of zest.

I like days when it looks like rain and I seek shade on a hot day. I love traveling and exploring exotic corners of the world (S. Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Amsterdam, Laos, London, Turkey, Morocco, New Zealand, Chili, Argentina, Ecuador, China, and Portugal over the last 5 yrs.). Traveling satisfies my craving for adventure and I can't think of anything I’d rather do w/my discretionary time or money

I’m not a shopper – but I do love garage sales. I enjoy the anticipation and thrill of the “find”. I enjoy crossword puzzles and would welcome someone who can help me complete them. The "education" I value most comes from extensive traveling. In my 20's I traveled across Europe to India (thru Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan), up to Nepal, down thru Thailand, Malaysia to Indonesia, ending up living in Australia).

I don't eat out much - so no favorites. I like Orcas, Whidbey, Olympic Rain Forest, Oregon coast, Latin America, China, SE Asia. PNW is such a beautiful area it isn't hard to find gorgeous places to hike and enjoy the outdoors. I quilt, putter, plan trips, spend time w/my grand kids.

I love world music - especially African, Latin, my own cooking, creating quilts. I value my Jewish roots (Turkish and Russian grandparents), but I am not religious. I've been retired 5 years...and love having the whole day stretched out in front of me...there is so much to do.

I’m not ready to give up on adventure or love. Hope burns eternal that I will once again team up with someone and that we’ll enhance each other lives. If "POF" doesn't work I will go back to hanging out in the produce section of QFC, and continue squeezing cantaloupes in the hopes that I'll meet someone there.
