This is my first time using a dating site. I'll try to describe myself the best I can.
My favorite hobbies are watching movies, reading, going to the theatre, singing, and spending time with people I love. I love movies. I can quote movies like no one else. Old movies from the golden age of hollywood are my favorite. As far as books go I'll read just about anything that captivates me. Anything from Jane Austen to Harry Potter.
I have an eclectic taste in music. Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland are my favorite singers. My ipod consists of a lot of oldies and Broadway. The 60's is my favorite music era.
I went to school to be a stage manager. So far I'm living the dream working in theatre. I fell in love with theatre when I was about 8 years old and my parents took me to see my first show which was Phantom of the Opera. From then on I knew that theatre was what I wanted to do with my life. So far it's worked out pretty great.
A quality that I have that people like about me is that I'm pretty happy most of the time. Happy-go-lucky. I don't like to let things get me down. Several of my work colleagues have told me that they like working with me so much because I'm outgoing. I love my friends and family very much. Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.

I think the first date is about getting to know the person. Going out to dinner and then for a walk or a drive would be ideal. It's better to be able to do something where you can just talk. Or even something fun like miniature golfing or bowling.
