About Me
A little about myself. How can I go into this without boring you to tears? Well I'll just tell you ahead of time, that there are tissues to your left next to that old book you never read anymore, so when you get bored and your eyes start watering, you know where to look.
I'm a geek at heart, with enough past to choke a donkey. I am a vetran of our armed forces, and have done many things in my life up in to this point. I now do two things on a profession level. I work technical support for a major credit card processor, and I run my own PC/Network repair and Graphic/Web design business. I have awesome business cards too ^^.
I'm not really much into conventional sports, sans watching a sharks hockey game once in a blue moon. I have training in medieval weapons, do sport archery, own a $175 table tennis paddle, and have a passion for gadgets and cell phones. I LOOOOOVE movies more than any one civilization should, but they are my escape.
I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to almost anything, but have a special place in my heart for all things rock, dance, and disco. I have the dancing rhythm of a one legged monkey trying to run up stairs, but i have always wanted to learn to dance.
I love to sing. Now please don't take my love of singing as any type of basis for my skill, because those two have nothing to do with each other. Think about what i said about how i look when i dance, and think of the sound that said monkey would make. Yup, that's me. That doesn't stop me though. I do karaoke because I love to sing and put on a show, not because I have some deluded image in my head that I sound good :)
All in all I am me, and that's all I can be. I'm honest, sincere, and kind. I'm a true optimist and want nothing but happiness. If you're looking for the beer guzzling jock, try looking three profiles down. If you want the loving romantic geek who will completely automate your house, ding ding ding!
First Date
What would I do for a first date? Well that really depends on the likes of the other person also. I always say a good first date has nothing to do with the events, though they can help. Compatibility is compatibility no matter what is being done. The right person would be content staring at paint dry as long as they were with you. Though I do like to do things out of the norm on a first date. Maybe a nice stroll through a zoo, a starlit picnic in the park, or even a 8am sit and watch at a local coffee shop (to see the frantic people late for work that still need their coffee), though me getting up that early would have to be for someone special ^^. Lets just say that hot air balloons and off the wall ideas are always great :D
