I like to do anything outdoors. Hiking, golfing, softball, hunting or just sitting around.

Right now my main personal goal is to continue to grow a surveying practice I started with a partner 4 years ago. Even so I try to find a good balance between work and personal time. I don't work Sundays unless it's an emergency (3 times last year) and I'm home by 7pm almost every night.

My friends tell me I'm loyal and dependable. Once you're a friend of mine, it takes a lot for me to give up on you. I try to live by the concept of doing what's right, not easy. I don't ask others to live by my code of conduct, everyone has to do what they think is right. Not that I won't give my opinion if asked on the subject.

My taste in music would seem to run middle of the road. I like classic rock, country, golden oldies (50's/60's) and some of the newer bands. Looking at the CDs on my desk I see Brad Paisley, Jackyl, Toby Keith, Nickelback, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynrd and Rob Zombie. No hip hop. Not a big fan of the rap / hip hop or boy bands.

Last movie I enjoyed was Appalosa. I just finished Stephen King's Cell which I liked and started Southern Storm, dealing with Sherman's march through Georgia. The 2 shows I try to catch each week are Modern Family and Bones.
