When jokes and stories are made, I've got the knack of pushing the envelope with a straight face. Sometimes a good argument is just the ticket! My work is stressful, so I do what it takes to unwind. I'll try anything at least once, just don't ask me to eat poo - I hope I'm not that easy.
I tend to take everything with a grain of salt. Some call me best dressed, some say eccentric. I just like to say that I don't follow the crowd. My car's mp3 collection is like a pile of mismatched socks. Nothing is taboo in my collection. That goes for food too. I'm still in pursuit of gastronomic heaven. Can I say Michelin Stars?
I'm simply looking for life's truths and adventures. Gump's mom said it best as life IS like a box of chocolates. When the chips are down, I'd say its just starting to get interesting.
I've been serious for far too long as life is far too short. Regrets are things that will always be, but I'd rather regret the things that have happened than regret the things that haven't.

What I would do. Movies are fun but so cliche, when will you ever get to talk?
Something fun would be to do one of those cooking classes from a good restaurant where they teach you to cook a full course dinner. They help you, and you get to enjoy not necessarily your food, but the intended results over a good glass of wine. It'd be fun, no?
The reality, however, is something more easy going. Honestly, I'd do a picnic, lunch, or dessert date. This is because I don't want the other person to see me stuffing my face, and possibly help the other person not get carried away too. There's a lot less pressure and since its lunch, you can be in your work clothes or have an excuse to get back to work for a meeting! It lets everyone feel safe and a gives lot of time to communicate.
If things go well, there will be a 2nd. And if it doesn't, I hope I've made a good friend! |
