I enjoy good food, and stimulating conversation. I am as comfortable at the ballet as I am on a hiking trail in the mountains, as long as either includes a good meal :^) I'm a bit of a beach-baby as well and I love the sun but sometimes a rainy day is awfully sweet. You could describe me as being sensual ... things that please my senses are what I appreciate. I like to take care of myself and appreciate a man who does the same, take a look at your hands because I will, I know that sounds funny but it's true :^) I bore easily and like to be active so new experiences are treats for me. Even so, I relish my down-time.

Now ... I'm not a ME, ME, ME kind of person. People who know me know that I am compassionate and giving, sensitive and caring; I like to pamper and be pampered ... you get the idea, I hope.

I've been an attentive mother to two boys who have grown into great guys and now I get to focus on me. I'd like to have someone in my life I can enjoy, who enjoys me. And please don't be put off by my directness ... my father taught me that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

First dates can be tricky so I'll be watching to see how comfortable my date is and what he'll do to try and relax me. If you are a confident man, you should be fine ;^)

We could see a local play or visit a museum, then have lunch or dinner ... whatever you choose should be of good quality. Price doesn't really matter to me. Quality always does. I can be talkative, as I like to learn things and exchange ideas, and I tend to ask a lot of questions so providing such an opportunity on a first date would be nice. I like a man who knows how to lead and if you demonstrate that you can do this with the utmost respect, consideration, and in good taste on a first date, you stand a good chance of having a second.
