I am an explorer of inner and outer worlds and want to share those explorations. I enjoy traveling to both new and familiar places. I balance travel with a nurturing home place. I am passionate about creative collaboration and ecological and cultural designing - demonstrating, teaching and inspiring ways to live in greater harmony with each other and our larger world.
I am sometimes silly and playful, sometimes serious. I can be thoughtful, tender, sweet, affectionate; intense, meditative, sensual; quiet or outgoing. I like to design and create, and to figure out, and to fix things.
I appreciate simple living, quality over quantity, and a balance of spontaneity and planning ahead. I like to work with both mind and body. It is important to me to collaborate with others on projects larger than myself that are congruent with my vision and livelihood. At present my primary home is in Hawai'i. I live simply in a small off-grid dwelling. My place here is an ongoing experiment in ecological design and implementation.
I spend part of the year on the West coast (and sometimes traveling elsewhere). I am open to connecting with you either side of the Pacific. Ideally I want to co-create a bi-coastal partnership with shared time in Hawai'i and elsewhere. Progressive, culturally vibrant pedestrian and bike friendly towns on or near the coast (such as Ashland, Oregon; Port Townsend, Washington; Portland, Maine) are the kinds of places I enjoy spending time when not in Hawai'i and not in the wilderness. I am particularly interested in intentional community and cultural and ecological education venues - co-housing, eco-villages and similar new/old models for human habitation.
