Is chivalry and romance dead?

Many women seek the "bad boy" and then cry when the "bad boy" gets what he wants and disappears, runs when the going gets tough or never returns her phone calls. Sorry ladies no "bad boy" here. What you will get is a "good man" who will let you know every day that you are being thought of and that you are loved with a kiss, hug, phone call or a short sweet text message. Gallantry is alive as I am very polite and attentive to women. You will find me very kind, gentle and caring and most of all honest. With me you will get truthful answers at all times with no beating around the bush or drama. I am educated and funny and am a very committed type of person. In a relationship I am always very monogamous. I tend to be easy going and I dislike arguments. Instead of being controversial you will find I would rather talk out differences and always seek a mutual agreement beneficial to both parties. I am not afraid of compromise and am happy to meet you midway.

I love movies especially science fiction and fantasy. As well as action/adventure and a good horror movie is always welcome. My music tastes are varied. I listen to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica and Rob Zombie. On the quieter side The Doors, Bob Marley, Elton John, Moby and Enigma. In techno music Tying Tiffany and Monsters Are Waiting. And to relax Enya, Sarah Brightman, Loreena McKennitt and Sarah McLachlan. I throw in a little Fiona Apple or Sinead O'Connor also. I can tolerate country music and tend to shy away from Rap.

I love the outdoors and am an Eddie Bauer kind of guy. I frequent outdoor festivals and grill outside rain or shine and even snow. I like to spend time in my garden and plant a variety of flowers as well. But most of all my passion is fishing. Put a fishing pole in my hands, point me to the water and you have a happy man.

I would love to go to an outdoor festival or cultural event but those are not always options. I would also go to dinner and a movie or cook dinner for my special someone and spend a romantic evening at home with a DVD, a cozy blanket on my couch.
