I moved to San Francisco nearly 15 years ago for a job and, like many others before and after me, to chase the ghost of Jack Kerouac. It didn't take long to fall in love with this city and even today I'm often surprised by its beauty. I've been able to create a fantastic life here - close friends, my own thriving business, an amazing young son, and I'm about to begin building my dream house. There, of course, have been some pitfalls along the way but as a wise person once said 'mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.' I'll drink to that.

A little bit about me ... I consider myself to be creative, confident, funny, patient, communicative, hard working, loyal and open minded. I have a small group of close friends and a wide circle of interesting ones. I am a patron of the arts, well read, well traveled, well connected, sarcastic, thoughtful and kind. I am a self-proclaimed coffee snob that enjoys fine wine, scotch, and Mission burritos.

In terms of career, I work in the music industry. I manage bands - some of which are very successful - and produce two music festivals. I also sit on the board of few non-profit arts organizations. My career comes with many perks and opportunities as well as its its fair share of is-this-really-happening moments. For example, in March I was on a panel with MC Hammer ... You can't, um, touch that. Like anything in life there are some downsides (I depend on artists for my living, need I say more?) but on most days going into my office doesn't feel much like going to work.

What am I looking for? I'll know when I meet her but as I type this description, here's what comes to mind: Attractive, confident, kind, and intelligent. She is stylish and social but can also revel in a day spent on the couch watching DVDs. She is environmentally conscious, well read, and believes that it is never too late to dream. Passion for music and the arts is a must.
