Golf is my passion. I play around 3 times a week. Fishing is secondary but I enjoy it immensely. I've been retired about 6 years now, and make my own schedule. My favorite place to travel is Kauai. I have been there probably 10 times now but don't think I'll ever tire of the beauty of Kauai, the white sand beaches, the myriad of greens that exist there.
I have 3 kids, all grown and going in different directions. I love them all. I have 1 granddaughter that has me wrapped around her little finger. She can do no wrong. I am young at heart, honest, caring and a good listener. I believe in treating women with respect. To me, opening a door for a woman is just the right thing to do. As far as music goes, I like oldies, the stuff out of the 60's and 70's, although some country is fine as well.

I believe a first date should be some activity where you get to know the person versus just sitting at a table over dinner giving resume's out to each other. Something like going to a casino, a walk in old town Sacto, or even bowling. After the activity, and the chemistry is there, a nice dinner later in the evening. Nothing fancy on the first date. Keeping it simple makes it less stressful for both.
