Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'm a 30 yr old guy who's beginning to get his head above water after a 12 year relationship with his first love, who unfortunately cheated on me 3 months after we finally got married... I have two kids, both boys, 10 and 3, who have always been at the centre of my life and everything I do, they live, during the week with their mum in Birmingham. Separated nearly two years now and been having some fun, but looking for some new friends and may be something more - gets boring on your own doesn't it!

So thats why I'm here, I guess you want to know about me... I'm 6"3, in reasonable shape (although its more to do with diet than exercise!)

Easy going, fun to be with, I guess, I'm a good listener, love nothing more than to invest an evening in idle chat, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies (with company), quality food (either at home or out) and decent wine, dont watch a lot of TV, but I guess when i do its most likely to be comedy or naturey-documentary-types that would grab my attention.

Passionate about cooking and trying new foods, also quite heavily into cake making / baking / decorating, no evening is quite complete without a decent pudding - I'll find one you like I'm sure :)

Kinda up for anything really, I suppose most people would describe me as being quite quiet... but when I feel at home with people I come out of my shell and am fun, funny and generally a laugh to be around (I think... - doesn't sound right writing these things about yourself does it!)

Dunno what I'm looking for really - just some friendship and, being single, some fun wouldn't go a miss ;) I'm a good and caring friend and look forward to hearing from you :)

I'd want to do something that you enjoy, but may be a nice meal somewhere, a bottle or two of wine, I'd like to hear all about you and what makes you tick...
