After 15 yrs of marriage, I'm in the process of getting divorced. It's been a long time in the coming, so it's time we're both moving on. I enjoy meeting new people (I hope so, considering I'm in PR!), so am actually looking forward to dating again.

My greatest joy in life is my two sons! I love them endlessly and I never realized how much fun children would be until I had my own.

I'd say I'm 60/40 extroverted to introverted. I love spending time with friends going to restaurants (I'm a definite "foodie"-- would cook more if I had the time), snow skiing, watching football (go Niners!), wine tasting, or just hanging out. But I also like a fair amount of time to myself to read (mostly non fiction, biographies, or The Economist...although I admit to reading brain candy like People and Cosmo way too often), creative write, garden, email friends, or just think. I really enjoy traveling and have been to about 10 countries, mostly for business with time tacked on the end to explore the locale for myself. If I had a million dollars, the first thing I'd do is travel. Often. My list of 'Wish Destinations' is long.

I esp love music. Can't imagine what I'd do without it in my life. I like nearly all kinds, but my iPhone is mostly loaded with indie and rock. Recently I've seen the Stone Temple Pilots, Flogging Molly, and Green Day, but I like small venues, small bands and even jazz or salsa, too. Someday I WILL see Yo Yo Ma in concert.

Pretty involved in my career and definitely have the entrepreneurial bug. Have been doing high-tech PR now for 16 years for start-ups and big corporations in the SF Bay Area. I like guys that are ambitious, too. But I need someone that believes in a real work/life balance. A successful career is Important, but life is to be LIVED!

As Jack London said, "I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The purpose of [wo]man is to live, not exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time." Cheers to that.

A nice restaurant and wine. Live music is always good. Would probably prefer to meet over coffee somewhere for the first date.
