My hobbies/interests: I love to travel, especially random road trips were you get lost and find the best little dives with great coffee! I really like to be outdoors and camp. I enjoy going to plays, museums, and just hanging out with friends. I love to cook, to do crafty things.. lately I am in to making felt toys, who knows!

My goals and aspirations are to raise and amazing son who will love life .. to do/work at something that makes a difference in the world. I have worked in healthcare for the last 14 years with a focus on birth.. not too many single men in the birth field! My work is a huge passion of mine and I am back in school to become a nurse.

How am I unique? I figured out what I wanted to do with my life when I was 16. I began attending conferences when I was 18 with hopes of becoming a midwife. I have owned my own company, traveled and meet many wonderful people from all over the world and I have seen amazing miracles happen. I pursued my dreams and followed my heart and I have no regrets.

I have been raised with a wonderful openness about life and spirituality and compassion with a "family" and community that is beyond my nuclear family. Other things unique about me, I am open...I have learned to slow down and view life through others eyes. From the alternate world of my former schizophrenic patients views of life to being a body modification partner to my punk friend who has a ton of tattoos and piercing. I have friend and family from all over the world and I try to remember the greater picture in life.

Music.. eclectic. I do love music but I find myself tuning in to NPR more than music/radio. 60's/70's music speaks to my heart (I am the child of hippies!) Simon and Garfunkel have the harmony of angels but I love any beat that can make me feel. I tend to be more moved by music's messages than the tune. I am not a good dancer, but I do feel the words and the "feeling" of the music.

It would be a nice blend of time to talk and get to know each other, laugh and have a beer.
