My current favorite quote is from the French novelist Emile Zola “If you asked me what I came into this world to do, I will tell you: I CAME TO LIVE OUT LOUD.” My daily goal is to feel joy in everything I do. I have an 18 year old son who is my greatest gift. He is a wonderful spirit and keeps me grounded. But he has recently graduated from high school and is moving on with his life, so it is time for me to do the same = ). I workout regularly and enjoy keeping fit. I believe a fit body is a sign of a healthy spirit and mind. I expect the best of people and am usually rewarded with the best people have to offer. A strong self image is important, but so is a good sense of humor. If you can laugh at yourself it speaks volumes.

The qualities I'm looking for in a partner are strength (mental and physical), integrity, a strong sense of self, intelligence and a personal spiritual foundation...someone I can laugh with, have fun with, connect with, and soar with!!

A few of my interests are, of course, my son, spirituality, travel (I used to be a flight attendant so a tolerance of my gypsy blood is important) making the planet a better place....oh, and football. I absolutely love football! I also like all things outdoors...hiking, climbing (indoors and out), running (I've done a number of marathon's...even one up a REALLY BIG mountain in Colorado), backpacking, laying on my back in the grass looking up at the sky and contemplating life. I love deep thinkers and great conversation. I also spend a great deal of my time writing......hopefully it will find its way to book form someday soon.

First impressions are important, making first dates the same. I don't really care what the date is as long as there is an opportunity to talk and get to know one another....dinner some place quiet, conversation over coffee or a glass of wine. I'm pretty comfortable in most settings and situations.
