I'm looking for my desert island guy. You know, the guy you'd happily be marooned with on a desert island. In fact, when you get rescued your sorta dissapointed because the two of you were having so much fun. That guy. I'm looking for him.

However, while I've waited to bump into him, I've kept myself pretty busy. I tend to be a little bit of an adrenaline junkie so my hobbies tend towards the risky/extreme. Small examples, I have a pilots license and flew helicopters for a short while, I ride a motorcycle in the summer, and I love to rock and mountain climb.

My intentions in doing these things has never been to be wild and crazy. Its more an expression of my abilities and my desire to live life to the fullest. I've met so many people who talk about living but in actuality are merely existing in a triangle between home, work, and the occasional movie night. I think that's nonsense. Life is precious, you've only got one shot at making it worthwhile, why not spend it living the life you've always dreamed of? Anyway, sorry to get all soap boxy. If there's three things I'm passionate about its people, living, and being outside.

I'm the typical outdoorsy NW chick. I've got skis, snowboards, and more camping/climbing equipment than I know what to do with. The great thing about Washington is we have access to amazing mountains and the Pacific Ocean. I try to take advantage of both whenever possible. When I'm not running around outside, I'm usually puttering around Seattle enjoying downtown's vibrant art scene. Concerts at the Paramount, poetry slams in Capital Hill, art galleries, cultural festivals at Seattle Center, independant films, plays in the park are all some of my favorite pastimes. And if that's not enough to keep one person busy, you can also occasionally find me enjoying a service at a number of Seattle churches. I guess you could say, I church hop (sorry God, I cant help it). I havent really settled into the idea of going to one church. And since I tend to be so busy, I'm terribly inconsistent about attending. But whenever possible, I enjoy a catholic or protestant service. I find it keeps me balanced.

Anyway, that's pretty much crazy me. So if your athletic, artsy and crazy like me, drop me a line. We might be a match ; )

Hmmmm......I'm not really sure. I will say, one fun idea that comes to mind is to ride my (ours if you had one) motorcycles on a warm summer day down to Pike Place Market and load up on pastries from Le Panier the french bakery. Then take them down to Golden Gardens for an impromptu dessert picnic. Yummy....
