I am heading off to the Island of Lesvos Greece for the first two weeks of April.
Planning on not spending very much time in Athens, airport to ferry with a few hours to kill there on both side of the bike tour. My style of riding can be read about from my last tour of this island from the spring of 09. http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/5123
This last trip was my first to Greece and I loved it. The down side was even though I am a happy go with the flow touring biker I felt I rushed too much and could of and should of stopped more, taken better photographs and just relaxed a tad more. There were big chunks of this island that on this trip I plan to explore, beaches to camp on and local fish to dine on.

So I am looking for someone who is comfortable when camping. That is not looking to race from place to place (I am not a bike jock). Thinks churches are cool but doesn’t need to stop at every one of them. That understands that there really is no down side when you are out on tour.

I would really like to hook up with a rider from the Pacific Northwest to do this ride with as living out here means we share some common interests already. Due to work I will leave on the 29th of March and return on the 15 of April from Seattle.

Ah that famous first date...
So if you have read the above message you know that I am into bicycle touring and miss having someone tour with me.. much better to share a sunset live and in color then to show your friends photographs after the fact. So if you can't for the life of you want to have the adventure of a bike tour then there really is no reason to move forward. But that is not the first date or even the second nor third. I would think a first date would be to one of those hidden gems. You know that hike to a hidden lake, or a friends art studio to watch him create, an afternoon spent at Maryhill, or in a wine makers garden.. who knows, isn't that the fun in life.
