As much as I tried to fight it...I want a relationship. I find myself daily struggling to forget about it, not be obsessed, and yet everyday, I go home and want to cuddle on the couch. Puke, I know, I can't turn it off.

A college friend and I used to say that we just wanted a boy to hold our hand and tell us what to do, and tell us everything was going to be okay. And we laughed. We laughed b/c we pitied the girls that desired that. We thought it was weird, weak even, that they didn't want to have their own life and make their own decisions. Now, I'm becoming one of those girls that doesn't want to have to do everything herself. I want a husband...someday. I want to cook him meals, clean up after him, gaze into his eyes as he stares past me at the TV, grasp his hand as he tries to wrench it free to pick up the remote...I want it all dang it. Allll of it. Please tell me someone's laughing...I'm not in a rush for the altar by any means, just trying to add some humor to this already too long profile.

A little more about me...I grew up in a small town, was pretty sheltered - am I a hick? Amish? No, but I can appreciate both. I like the idea of never dressing up, just sitting around the fire after a day of fishing. And who doesn't love a good Amish restaurant meal!

I'm hilarious, sarcastic, witty, a smart girl who likes mindless things just as much as using her brain. I'm close to my family and very much value my time with them when I get to see them. I'm a very dependable friend, responsible adult, and a complete goof at times. I enjoy life and can't stand when I have a bad week, but hey, it happens. I'm a spotlight craver at times and like to entertain people, but other times I just want to fade into the crowd and go unnoticed.

Laugh a ton and realize that internet dating can work. More specifically, mini-golf, hike, play tennis, go for a walk - something like that when it's nice (but not sweltering hot) out. When it's not so nice out we can be lame and just go to dinner and talk about our feelings. ;)
