I am 27 years old and staying very busy right now while building my clientele as an independent insurance agent for a company based in Fort Worth. Although I currently live in Fort Worth, I am moving to Austin April 2010 at the latest and would like to meet some great people there. I have loved the Austin/Hill Country area for years and finally have the flexibility in my career to pick up and go!

I am a very positive and happy person and believe that although not every situation is the best, if you learn from mistakes and find the brighter side in life experiences you will enjoy life more. My friends consider me to be the 'mom' of the group....always looking out for everyone and trying to do nice things for them. I am very professional when it comes to work, but I can be a goofball on my own time : ) I love stupid jokes, sitcoms, and funny movies. I am not the best at sitting still unless I am on my laptop, or watching something funny on TV. Halloween and New Years are my favorite holidays and I refuse to stay at home for them. I want to be out in the middle of the action!

I am OBSESSED with music!!! I can't work out without my iPod blaring in my ears, the radio never gets turned off in my truck, and I love to turn on some good music while I am chilling at home. I listen to anything from Texas country to rap to classic rock to alternative. Basically anything but Christian music (never could get into it).

During the summer I spend as much time as possible in, on, or near the water. I LOVE boating and wakeboarding, floating the Comal and Guadalupe, and hanging out with friends at the pool too. As for when it gets colder, I enjoy going to new restaurants and bars with friends, spending time with my family while sitting by a bonfire and sharing stories, and shooting guns. Regardless of where I am, people watching is pretty good entertainment for me. It's fun to sit on a patio outside with a cold drink and just relax and watch the interesting and funny things that people do : )

I am currently working two jobs while I establish my insurance career (the second job is working in a bar), so I stay very busy and prety tired. When and if I have a day or night off, I like to make the most of it and go have some fun.

I grew up in a family of pilots so I love flying, watching airshows, and seeing the military aircraft that fly into the base by my house : ) I do not fly myself, but it is something that I will always enjoy.

Someday I do hope to marry, but I am undecided at this point about children. I love kids but am just not sure whether I want that responsibility......I'm having too much fun being free and spontaneous! My family is extremely important to me and are a great support system. We would do anything for each other.

I graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and a Marketing minor. Although I eat well (much of the time) and enjoy doing so, I love food and enjoy trying new types of food. If I really want something, I let myself have it....life is too short to restrict yourself too much! I enjoy cooking and it's one of my favorite things to do for other people. I enjoy finding new recipes to try and am always a bit nervous when I cook for others because I want them to love what I make them (no complaints so far).

I've never done one of these sites before (I'm sure that's what everybody says). I am up for dating, hanging out, and just having a general good time with anybody cool I happen to meet. I think you can never have too many friends, so if we don't click on a date but still enjoy each other I would love to be friends : ) If you think we have some things in common and you are as fun-loving as me, shoot me a message and we will have to talk : )

I skipped over this part initially so I will add a few things. I think going to see a movie on a date is a bad idea. How do you get to know somebody when you are sitting in silence? Otherwise, I am up for anything : ) I love doing random things such as go-cart racing, riding roller coasters, and anything that is not the norm for a typical date, however dinner and drinks is still a great way to spend time with someone : ) I am still old fashioned when it comes to dating, so if you don't hold the door for me or do basic gentleman things like that, you will not win any brownie points with me.
