I'm down to earth, a straight shooter, direct and always honest, funny, witty, warm, engaging, emotionally sound and content within myself, spiritual, grounded, (my friends all come to me for advice),sensual,comfortable with my own sexuality, affectionate,giving,love to laugh (extremely important), I'm savvy, sassy, slightly irreverant, very self-aware and intuitive of others and within, well aware of my shortcomings and admit when I'm wrong. Mutuality is the key to any relationship, if 2 people aren't on the same page, it can never work. "They" say when you are not looking and you are good with yourself is when you find something unexpected."To find someone you love, you gotta be someone you love". To paraphrase something I read, turn off the flashlight, you never know what you might find in the shadows.. I don't define success by wealth or career, but by how one lives one's life and how they treat others.. Heavily into music, classic rock, indie-alternative, (bands some people have never heard of),WFUV and 107.1 The Peak, soul, R&B, some country and "pop".Love all live music, small intimate venues,large noisy ones, eating at the bar,people watching. Other interests: Movies, indie and foreign, reading, a beach addict, the city, the country, mountains, window shopping, long walks, (yes, on the beach too), Love jeans, cowboy boots, dark chocolate, thunder, wine,most foods, fireplaces and being near the water. Restaurants: Local dives to noisy, crowded ones or small,6 table intimate ones. I work in retail(clothing), I love my job, I'm passionate about all of the above,about what I do, about my kids and my many close, wonderful friends, (some of which are ex-boyfriends). Everyone crosses our path for a reason, for a moment in time or longer, everything and everyone shapes us. Will never settle for less than what I desire.

It depends, and it doesn't matter, when there's a desire to meet, it can be aything, it's about the company not the venue. Sitting across a table can be fine,a bit interview like,but if there's a "feeling" there, it works. A big silly grin on one's face when meeting is a good sign, after all, the proof is in the pudding, there can be great e-mail or phone, but it means nothing until face to face. It's a gut reaction, you either feel it or you just don't. Also, walking through the streets of NYC or anything outdoors, the beach, just sitting on a park bench, anything in real life can be very revealing of someones personality.If there's a click and connection anyplace will be great. And of course desire and the knowledge you will see each other again is the best way for a first meeting to end. (and the phone call on the way home isn't bad either)
