Sports and adventures are big part of my life. But I won't sit on the couch watching NFL or NASCAR with you. I'm a participant in life not a spectator. I have an extremely wide range of interests from crafts and cooking to home repair and remodeling, adventure travel and a wide range of outdoor sports. Downhill skiing is a serious passion and I can keep up! I clean up decent too and can put on a strappy pair of heels, nice dress and waltz with you. I've adventured, sometimes solo, in exotic Asian and African places. I've climbed to tops of mountains and love to try, do, see and eat new things. I decided early in my life that it was about connections to friends and experiences that could make for a "rich" life not the latest material possessions. Even on a teacher's income I figured out have a great life by getting my priorties in order. If you think the best toys are things like: kayaks, skis (alpine or cross county), sailboats, and bikes then we've got a great start. Let's go! I paddle and tour in a wooden kayak that I built myself. I also have a side that enjoys cultural events, theatre, fine food, dancing and musicals.

I'm semi retired from a great career in education. I now get to work a couple of hours a day 4 days a week having great fun with kids after school. Spend the rest of the time playing and throwing clay in my pottery studio or playing on the lake.

In dining and food category it’s the exotic that intrigues me. Having half dozen friends prepare sushi at my cooking island while we down a big bottle of sake is my idea of a great evening. Because of my range of experiences & and travels and interests I have little problem making conversation with a variety of people. I really enjoy mingling with intelligent, well traveled, liberal and educated people.

I've had a great life but I know it would be way more fun to share adventures with a partner. I'm looking for a guy who wants to be out there in the boats, on the bikes or cruising on skis with a companion who can keep up. That doesn't mean I can't be a lady and let you hold the door for me.
