Time to sound generic: I like people who hold the doors, and smile as they pass by. I live in Edmonton, but my heart belongs to the road. I'm going to travel. I am me, most days.

And now I guess I have to summarize who I am.. Well, I am a well-rounded girl that has her priorities straight. I love smiling at cameras and I crave good conversations. I really used to be outgoing and made crude comments in class during high school, but I guess I grew out of it.
I have no problem with spontaneity (road trips anybody?) but I love to kick my feet back, put my headphones on and draw/write/paint. I love live shows with a pint of beer and good friends. This summer the band I wanted to see was playing in Winnipeg -- my friends and I made a weekend of it.
I get most of my kicks out of the seniors I work with; they're truly amazing. I eat like crazy, but cannot cook -- I've been a vegetarian for four and a half years. I would love to find someone with similar eating habits, or at least someone willing to go out and have a vegan dinner with me! I would rather walk (if it is a realistic distance) than drive. But when it comes to long distances, bring on the road.
As far as music goes, I've been trying to expand my likes lately, but my favorites still remain to be Ryan Adams, Matt Good and Neil Young. Classical will always go over well with me, and if you can play it even better. Guilty pleasure is definitely Taylor Swift. My ears are open to new sounds. Music is art, and in order to appreciate art you need to have an open-mind! I'm game for anything.
