| | AHHH the online profile, the perfect balance between modesty and self delusion (for me at least)
I decided to give this website a try thanks to the persistent arm twisting of my friend. Well, it was less twisting but more of a consistent nagging that has led me down this path. But I've never been the one to quit without trying. So here goes nothing.
What can I say that hasn't already been said here by most guys? I'm a simple person who likes living life to the fullest. I like hanging out at bars and lounges with my closest and dearest friends. Music is a big part of my life; I can't imagine what a day would be without music. What I listen to depends on my mood or the activity I'm involved in, anything goes except country and I've always had a soft spot for rock and heavy metal.
I love my books and can't go a week without finishing a book; or rather I try and aim to finish a book a week but that stat has dipped lately.
Other than that, in my free time I try and hit the gym and run whenever I can or play hockey once a week or practice martial arts whenever time permits. Being physically active and challenged is important to me.
My next mission in life is to master skiing and make it to black diamond level by the end of winter season.
I do appreciate the small things in life and I love meeting new people and getting to know them on more than a superficial level.
I value loyalty, intellectualism and a curious mind with a spirit of misadventure.
I’m looking for a partner in crime who is willing to try new things in life, is independent and funny (or can laugh at my nerdy jokes) and can hold an intellectual conversation.
What I don't want is some one who is materialistic, judgmental, who isn't independent or can't hold her own. I prefer and appreciate women who can stand up for themselves and have achieved the goals they set out in life. I appreciate a woman who can call me on my bull crap and can challenge me and speaks her mind.
