For my age, I'm woefully inexperienced at the whole dating thing, especially the online variety. But I'm trying.

My day job involves educating high school students, and it's a whole lot of fun. When I'm not in my classroom, you can find me either: 1) watching the History, Discovery, or National Geographic Channel, 2) viewing a video from my DVD collection - more than likely a 1950s flying saucer movie, a Hammer horror movie, or a 1980s cartoon series, 3) reading articles on tvtropes.com, cracked.com, or newsarama.com, 4) working on my webcomic, 5) playing with my cat, Tigger, 6) listening to talk radio, 7) playing solo dice games, 8) listening to classic rock, metal, blues, outlaw country, or '60s rock/pop music, or 9) shopping for more books to add to my already oversized collection.

I am fascinated by history, archaeology, astronomy, paleontology, and culture, and try to read as many books and watch as many documentaries as I can pertaining to those subjects. So don't be surprised if I start spouting random trivia about Sir Francis Drake, the War of 1812, Beowulf, 1960s comic books, the American Basketball Association, the moons of Saturn, or Archaeopteryx at a moments notice.

I'm pretty much a dinner-and-a-movie kind of guy, though I did take a first date to an art museum once. Not that I've been on many first dates. As I said, I was a bit of a late bloomer, and thus am pretty inexperienced when it comes to dating. I'm trying to get better, though.
