Currently, I don't have much time for hobbies as I am a full-time graduate student. However, I do love watching movies (almost any kind from guy action movies to romantic comedies and dramas) and listening to music (mainly punk, alternative, and a little country but am open to many others). When I do have some free time, I love spending time with my now 6 year old son. I love teaching him new things as well as learning new things from him. I never thought I could smile and laugh every waking moment of the day until I had a son. He's very bright and very funny just like his dad! haha

My goals include graduating and being the best in my chosen career which is School Psychology. (I like to set high goals) I currently practice in public schools helping kiddo's succeed in their studies and accomplish social/emotional/behavior goals as well. I've come to realize that although I love my life and the future I have, I know it would be that much better to share it with someone you care about and that cares about you. Life is more than just reaching the accomplishments and goals you set for yourself, but also to share those things with someone special.

I am old-fashioned when it comes to love. I love doing nice things randomly and don't need a special holiday or reminder to do something nice for the person I love. I am a romantic. I am more about having an experience rather than just buying something nice. I would rather spend a weekend at a nice hotel and go out to dinner with my partner rather than just buying them a necklace. To me, memories last a lifetime and are more worth it. I also take the time to listen. If you have something on your mind, or something that is troubling you, I'll be the first one to take the time to listen and hear what you have to say. I don't think many people do that anymore or know how to do it effectively. I am also very loyal. Friends and family are the most important to me. I do whatever I can for them and I will never be that guy who pretends to like someone and then talk about them behind their back. I am always loyal and always see the bright side of things. I am optimistic and would rather think about the good side of things rather than lament on the negatives.

For a first date, I would go somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other. Going out to dinner is always a good first date idea because you can dress up to look your best (most people enjoy dressing up), but also spend an hour or two just talking and listening to one another. A first date isn't about getting into someone's pants, but rather getting to know someone on a deeper and more romantic level as well as on a more friendship related level. If you can't be friends, you can't be lovers. And yes, I always pay on a first date. :)
