I would love to meet one person that can sum themselves up (along with what they want) in this silly little paragraph. I'm not on here trying to convince any man that they need to ask me out because of what I wrote on here...but I can promise that this is the real me. And I'm not trying to waste anyone's time :)

If I could describe myself in three words, they would be outgoing, optimistic and passionate (about life, the things I believe in and the people I love). I was born and raised in Tennessee, a true southern girl. The most important parts of my life are my faith, my family and my friends. I have an 8 year old daughter, so life is crazy at times...to say the least. My faith and belief in God are extremely important to me, I do go to church. I spent the summers growing up at Center Hill, so I'm a complete water baby. I learned to water ski when I was 10...Still looking for someone to teach me to wakeboard (any takers?).

I'm think I'm the (not so typical) "girl next door." I will try (most) anything once, otherwise I might miss out on something! I love to play volleyball, read a good book, go bowling, check out a new movie or restaurant, get dolled up for a night on the town or just chill at a friends and watch UFC or play poker. I'm always up for jumping in the car and taking a drive...with no destination in mind. I love to travel...day trips or around the world. On the other hand, I'm also completely content to just "be still."

I guess to put it simply, I'm looking for a best friend. I truly believe that to have a successful relationship, you must have a strong foundation. That starts with a friendship. Next, there has to be chemistry...it's there or it's not. I'm not looking for Prince Charming or the perfect man. I'm looking for the perfect man for me.

Here are a few other things that I can appreciate in a man:
-Confidence (without being arrogant)
-Being great with kids (and dogs), and no...I'm not on here looking for a father for my daughter (she already has one :)
-Wonderful sense of humor (Life is much too short not to laugh!)
-Someone who will accept me for me without trying to change me. I'm all for learning from your mistakes and growing and changing as a person, but I'm not a piece of Play-do that can be molded as you see fit. I would never pretend to be perfect but I know what I have to offer and when the time is right, it will happen.
-Someone who is into working out and staying active. Whether it's pounding weights at the gym or rock-climbing...get off your bum!

I'm not on here looking for a hook-up, you could check craigslist for that or the local bar. Also, if you're married, you can't have your cake and eat it too...so don't bother.

Otherwise, I would love to make some new friends and see what happens from there.
