I'm not really sure about this, but I figured I'd give it a try! I'm very social and love to be in the company of my friends. I love doing relaxing things like going out to eat, going to the movies, lounging in my apartment on a lazy Sunday, taking long walks with my dog, and pretty much anything that can be done with little stress! I'm definitely not the kind of person to go skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba diving in Fiji, paragliding off the volcanos in Hawaii, etc... so if you're looking for thrill-seeking adventurists... hate to break it to you, but you'd probably be best moving on to the next profile! :D However, in my defense, I think I'm kinda cool. I'm pretty silly, goofy, and geeky. I love art and photography, and I'm interested in pursuing both more when I have time. Music is a big part of my life, and I am listening to it constantly - even at work. Some of my favorite artists are Radiohead, Muse, Beck, and have been getting into Pinback, Death Cab, and Animal Collective.

As for who I'm looking to meet, I can finally say that I know some things I want in a guy. I know that I want a guy who's ready to date someone, not just hook up. I want to meet a guy who lets me know exactly what he's thinking, whether it's how much fun he has with me, or how he likes the way my butt looks in my jeans. It's really refreshing to meet a guy who says what he's actually thinking, rather than playing games. I know that I can't date anyone who drinks heavily, because I'm a light drinker and sometimes opt to not drink for weeks at a time. I also think it's really cheesy when anyone, man or woman, says "I work hard and play hard" - so if you often utter this phrase, it probably won't work between us... I'm sorry. Cheese overload! I'm very averse to cheesiness.

As I mentioned, I'm a light drinker - so the typical first date of grabbing drinks at a bar is not really my cup of tea. Speaking of which, grabbing a cup of tea would actually be really nice! I like when you come up with something interesting, it shows you're trying. Doing something competitive is fun, going for yummy beverages is great, taking in some random event that NYC has to offer is also exciting. I'm not ordinary, and you shouldn't be either!
