Hi, my name's Matt. I like to think of myself as kind of a country boy born in the wrong time and place. If I had it my way, I would have been born in Texas, or somewhere else south or west of PA :). I enjoy reading, watching movies (action, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy especially), listening to music, following politics (I am pretty conservative, so lots of people call me a close-minded ***hole), and spending time with friends and family. I also need a good bit of time to be alone, whether to sit, think, walk, whatever else. I am one of the most inconsistent people you will ever meet; even I havent figured out how many sides there are to me yet. I am currently an aerospace engineering student at Penn State, and I want to design rockets and missiles after graduation. I've put a lot of thought into the military, but am still undecided as to whether or not it's right for me. I am an Eagle scout, and still involved with the scouts. I am a very mediocre person; I am kind of smart and kind of athletic and kind of social, but there's not much I'm truly good at. I spend much of my time thinking about life in general, and I think I have a lot to show for it. And as for music, I listen to anthing I think is good. I have almost every kind of music imaginable, except for jazz, which I don't dislike, but never got into, emo, and indie. Emo and indie just suck, I think. Other than that, I love techno, ska, and country especially. And rock and metal. And soundtracks. And a good rap song. Yeah, I pretty much like it all. I'm a pretty quiet person, but I warm up after a while. I pick the people I hang out with carefully, but after I decide I like them, I'm extremely loyal.
