Who I am:

My name is Roger and I'm a bit of a workaholic, I am committed to finishing what I set out to do and I am committed to doing it well. This has left me with little time outside of work and my hobbies to meet new people, so here I am.


My hobbies:

I'm first and foremost a car guy, I love cars, I love driving them, wrenching on them, and racing them. I am an amateur race car driver in my free time, competing in an entry level racing series, and I'm working at getting into some more prestigious semi-professional racing.

My other passion is in art, I spent most of my life honing my skills in illustration, animation, and 3D graphics. I'd probably list this as my number one hobby if I didn't have to do it everyday for my career.

Outside of racing as my primary hobby, I spend my free time bartending, playing video games, painting, drawing, sculpting, and competing in art competitions.


My Career:

Although I'm an artist, I work in the medical field. I work in medical imaging developing new and innovative ways to help doctors visualize their patient's anatomy for much more advanced and accurate surgical planning.

Because of my work, I am developing a growing interest in the medical field, depending on how things develop, I am considering possibly getting some credentials in the dental field or possibly other ways to apply myself in the medical or bio tech industries.

I love my job, and I find the application of art in the medical field fascinating, but some day I think would like, at some point, to get back into the entertainment business and do concept art and special effects for movies and video games.

Who I am part 2:

I am a pretty goal oriented person, I tell myself that in 10 years I want to be somewhere in my life, and I am committed to making it happen. There's always hurdles down the road, and some pretty big ones have been thrown my way, some have tripped me up pretty bad, but I always get up and I've never stopped moving forward. I want to meet someone who can dream like I do, and isn't afraid of aiming high and actually doing what they dream.

My friends used to always ask me for ideas for first dates, and I've helped them make some pretty amazing nights happen, but I never seem to have a great idea for myself.
