What would life be without seasons? It is one of the things I have always appreciated about our state. We have four full seasons; four opportunities each year to enjoy the unique qualities of each. (Fall is my favorite for some reason). I have been newly single for over two years, with very little time to pursue a social agenda and a serious aversion to the superficial nature of the club scene. I am entering a new season of my life and I am looking forward to meeting the people (or person) that will share it with me.

About me: I am male (all day), but fail miserably at typical male attributes; I don’t drink beer (unless it’s Mexican, and even then it has to have salt and lime), don’t smoke, can only watch sports television if it’s football or tennis, have no interest at all in Nascar, don’t even know what WWF stands for and have trouble making any kind of entertaining noise with bodily functions. I am reasonably mature for my age, deceptively intelligent looking, prone to quoting lines from movies and not above using sarcasm to my advantage. I am a devout carnivore (if I am going to eat, something has to die). I excel at grilling steaks and making vodka martinis, but that’s why God made restaurants.

About you: female (preferably from birth), shorter than I am and hwp (it makes the logistics easier). Hair color is not important as long as you do have it (the Sinead O’Connor look does not work for me), but brunettes get extra credit. It would be good if you spoke English; sarcasm loses its effect if I have to explain it. A reasonable level of intelligence would be nice, but I will not hold it against you if you don’t know what WWF stands for or don’t know how to calculate the tip. I am a hopeless romantic, so please familiarize yourself and be comfortable with the term PDA (no, not “personal digital assistant”).
