I am extremely laid-back, artistic, and humorous. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, open-minded, laid-back, and funny. I love to laugh; one of my favorite activities is go to comedy clubs. I have a quirky sense of humor and most people find me extremely funny. I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine. I paint mostly in oil/acrylic on canvas and draw in pen & ink. I love baseball; it's not the only sport that I will watch; I'll watch the occasional football game too. I like going to museums, especially to see traveling exhibitions. I love jazz and Brazillian bossa nova. I like classic rock, funk, vintage 70s, reggae, hip-hop, classical, and big band. Dancing gives me great joy; I like taking dance classes, e.g., ballet, modern dance, and ballroom. I love the beach and all tropical locales. If given the opportunity, I would love to live by the ocean. My aspirations are to have a fulfilled existence, whatever I may be doing at the moment, and to find someone with whom I can share meaningful experiences.

A first date is as individual as the persons who are going on said date, so it all depends on the person. Generally, I think that first dates should be in public, somewhere fairly quiet over drinks and/or dinner where two people can converse without having to shout above the din of a crowd or loud entertainment. Other than that, I don't have specific venues or settings in mind.
